To make the Cell a unique platform through multiple ways and means for developing a balanced and holistic view and vision among its members about the importance of empowerment of women in the improvement of social order and equilibrium. To build a positive image of women in the society and recognize their contributions in social, economic and political sphere.
Mission
The Women Cell shall strive to create a lasting awareness in students about building a better equitable and just society through empowerment of women.
Objectives
To create awareness amongst students about the problems faced by women of all sections of society including working women.
To create an environment of gender equity and justice where men and women work together with a sense of personal security and dignity.
To create awareness amongst students about the issues related to the girls during their growing years.
To disseminate knowledge about rights and laws related to women.
To create a sense of responsibility and a healthy work ethic in all disciplines of college.
To enhance self-esteem and self-confidence among girl students and women faculty members in the college.
To foster decision-making ability in girl students for making informed choices in areas like education, employment and health.
To develop analytical thinking, decision-making leadership qualities and teams spirit among women
